Christmas markets have been back across the countryside this winter. Knaresborough, Otley, Harrogate and various other towns and villages have been decking the stalls with bells and holly and selling local produce. Now, more than ever, with a hard couple of years behind us and a challenging winter ahead, it has been wonderful to come together and celebrate the good things about the darkest months. With parks turned into ice-rinks, homemade specialities and people getting out there to spend time together, our area has been a cheery place this December. We hope yours has too.
